Cover revealed for Lenny's first children's book 'The Boy With Wings'

We have lift off! The cover for Lenny's first ever children's book 'The Boy With Wings', illustrated by Keenon Ferrell has been revealed. Published on 14 October this year, the book also features an exclusive comic book adventure created by Marvel artist, Mark Buckingham.

Lenny said: "Ever since my Aunty Pearl took me to Dudley Library and got me enrolled, I have loved books. Short ones, long ones, in betweeny ones. Marvel and DC, Beano and the Dandy, Just William, Jennings, and Billy Bunter. I’ve always wanted to write for kids and Pan Macmillan have given me this great opportunity to do so.

I wanted to write a story about a boy (just like I was at 12 years old) - bullied, pushed around at school, called names because of the way he looks, the colour of his skin. But soon he will discover secrets about himself that will rock his world and everyone else’s. 

The story is about a boy with wings, who will have big decisions to make.
